My mom makes the best tomato soup. She’s been making it since 1984 and I finally had her show me how she makes it. It is sooooooo easy! I’m very proud that the tomatoes I grew in my garden have turned into future sustenance.
We decided to add basil and I forgot to show that in the video. All we did was finely chop fresh basil — about 20 leaves for the batch. Can you go wrong with tomato and basil? I think not! Here is my mom’s hand-written recipe.
