There are so many people who never breathe deeply. They live their lives taking shallow, short breaths and their health can suffer as a result. This is a very simple technique that not only gets you breathing deeply, but it also crosses energy over your body so it can be doubly wonderful for your body. When you breathe in, do so through the nose with the tip of your tongue on the roof of your mouth. When you breathe out, breathe through your mouth with the tongue on the bottom of your mouth. These are slow, deep breaths. You should practice until you feel comfortable. Once you have the breathing down, I want you to visual balance. That can be the word “balance” or it can be a teeter totter, or you balancing on something. Whatever works for you is fine. Just focus on balance. Your feet and hands come next. Start with your feet. …

Simple hula hoop exercises for healthy energy
One day when I was hooping and studying about energy a lightbulb went off. It finally occurred to me how helpful hula hooping is to my energy body. The body wants energy to cross over from one side of your body to the other. Unfortunately, many people have energy that only runs homolaterally (going in the same direction) with none of their energy crossing over. By simply spinning the hoop around your waist, you are spinning the energy too – it is helping your energy to crossover your body, which is a great benefit to your energy body and, therefore, your physical body. If you haven’t mastered waist hooping, fear not. There are hoop exercises you can do – figure 8s for example – that don’t require on body hooping skills. Even just simply standing with your hoop in front of you and moving it back and forth (an isolation move) while switching your hands…

Closed minds and gratitude (but not for closed minds)
I have a bumper sticker on my fridge that says “A closed mind is a wonderful thing to lose.” It inspired me today. I find it frustrating when people who feel miserable, are in pain, and are pumping themselves full of prescription drugs (which only mask the symptoms and does not get to the root cause of the problem) are unwilling to try diet to help themselves. This is a simple, low-cost alternative. But so many times I have heard “No, I can’t give up……(you name the animal based food)” I mean, can’t you even try for a couple weeks just to see if you would feel better? No — the closed mind can really hinder people’s willingness to help themselves. I just don’t understand. I guess they prefer feeling miserable — perhaps from the sympathy they get from others. Can someone explain this to me? Wouldn’t being open to trying a new diet be…

Vegan Mozzarella Cheese
This is the first video blog in my new place in my new town. I am finally getting settled in and Marble is transitioning better now. Things are looking better and brighter! I have been wanting to make this cheese since I saw it demonstrated in early June. I finally found time and had all the ingredients to do it. It turned out great!! As you will see from the video, it makes quite a bit of cheese. Being a single person, I often let food go bad in my refrigerator simply because I can’t eat it fast enough. I didn’t want that to happen to this cheese so I thought I would try it on my toast this morning instead of vegan butter. I definitely give it a thumbs up! Once it gets warm it spreads very easily. Definitely give it a try. You can watch the video below. Click HERE for a link…

Settling In
Marble (my dog) and I moved to our new place and city on July 3, leaving behind a wonderful house which, unfortunately, was just not in the right area for me. I feel very freed in that I am no longer tied to a place that just wasn’t serving my highest good. There was just something that was holding me back there and I never really felt that I made any REAL connections with people. That is one reason why I left. Another is that I was working in a career that became life draining for me and it offered me nothing in regards to satisfaction or enjoyment. So, I had to move. However, now I can state it as past tense…..I did move and now it is done. My house is under contract so soon my ties to the area where I spent 15 years of my life is now practically over. Happy, oh…
